CHVProm 2016...we can't wait for the biggest party of the year!

The Cheverly Community Center Gym goes from this...

Every year, through the tireless work of the terrific CHVProm Committee and the Department of Public Works, our nondescript gym gets transformed into Cheverly's big dance: it's CHVProm 2016! 

CHVProm kicks off Cheverly Day's 85th Anniversary celebration weekend with music, dancing, great food, drinks, and prizes! This year’s theme is "Timeless."  CHVProm begins at 8:00pm on Friday, May 20, and doesn't run out of gas until midnight.

Start brainstorming with your friends now to win the “Best Decorated Table” contest! Competition for the best decorated table is always fierce, and over the years, we've been impressed by Cheverly Metro, Feral Foxes, Gilligan and friends, 007 and Goldfinger... What ever happened to the gold mannequin that decorated that table? Last time we saw her, she was crowd surfing, then riding in the 80th Anniversary Parade the next morning...who knows what will turn up in the parade THIS year? Anyhow, CHVProm is always a wild night. We can't wait to see the results!

While the decor and fashions are always great fun, dancing and food are big draws! Cheverly has a wealth of great cooks, and the potluck buffet served up at CHVProm is fantastic.

Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, April 20 and sell out quickly every year! Individual tickets are $15 per person or you can buy a full table of 12 for $180.  Individual tickets and tables of 12 will be sold at Town Hall during normal business hours, CHECK OR MONEY ORDER ONLY, made out to Cheverly Day Inc., memo line "CHVProm tickets".  Alternatively, you can purchase a table directly from committee member Robin Kaye.  Please note: THERE ARE NO ADVANCED TICKET SALES OR RESERVATIONS.

Get ready for a wild night! CHV Prom will kick off another fantastic Cheverly Day. Join your neighbors on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 8pm until midnight for an evening of fun, laughter, dancing and a potluck feast. In keeping with Cheverly Day theme of Keep Cheverly Wild, CHV Prom’s theme is Wild Nights. Tables are encouraged to be decorated in the theme - which you can interpret however you see fit - be it disco, jungle, or whatever else you come up with - let your imagination run WILD!

Tickets are now on sale at the Cheverly Community Center during regular business hours: $15/ticket, $180 for a table of 12. Get yours today; they will sell out wildly fast!
