Valentine's Day + Snow = Cheverly Day

What a great time at Legion Park this afternoon -- thanks to everyone who came out for the 2014 Cheverly Snowball Fight!

What was supposed to be an East vs. West winner-take-all battle turned out to be a free-for-all event, with Mayor Mike Callahan receiving far more than his fair share of snowballs (though he threw quite a few, too!)

 After a few days' recovery, we've finally made it through the photos from Cheverly Day! Even with the rain, we definitely had a great time. Photos from the Cicada Crunch 5k and events throughout Cheverly Day are on flickr...CHVProm photos are coming very soon!

Fireworks!

What a weekend! We're still recovering and photos will come out soon! For now, we wanted to share some fireworks -- they really are spectacular.

It's finally here...Cheverly Day! There may be a few raindrops, but we won't let that stop a great day of fun. Kick things off at Cheverly Community Market starting at 8am -- if you aren't running in the Cicada Crunch, cheer on the runners at the finish line (near the Community Center)! We have a full day of entertainment and great activities in store....
