Wondering about this year's inspiration?
This year's theme -- Keep Cheverly Wild -- was inspired by the two amazing trunk sculptures that mark the entrance to Town Park and the Community Center. Honed out of dead tree stumps, the sculptures celebrate wildlife and nature in and around Cheverly. Both pieces are by artist Joe Stebbing of Thurmont, Maryland. Joe is well known in the region for his carving (learn more about him here.)
We think you'll agree, celebrating all that's wild in Cheverly -- whether animals, trees, trails, or people -- is going to be a lot of fun! We're looking forward to sharing the next months leading up to May 16 with you!

Cheverly Day 2015 is on May 16!
We're very happy to announce that Cheverly day 215 is on Saturday, May 16! We're doing a few things differently this year, most importantly, moving festivities a little later in the day. Join us from 2pm to 9pm at Town Park for games and activities, food, great music, and all sorts of wonderful community groups.
There's a lot of news to share in coming days, but for now, mark those calendars!
